The NECA is a non-profit club created to promote awareness among cichlid hobbyists. We were formed as a club devoted
soley to cichlids. The club is quickly growing and we hope will soon be a well known cichlid club throughout Northern
America. As the club continues to grow, we will be able to hold auctions at our meetings, enabling us to keep share
different species of cichlids with other club members. As a club member, you will be able to attend presentations by
speakers who will share their knowledge of the cichlids we keep, or on new species. You'll be
able to share ideas on DIY projects, tank decor, maintenance and all other aspects of the hobby. Most of all, you'll
have a new group of friends who don't think you're insane for converting your garage or basement into your
personal aquarium.
As a newly formed club, now's the time to join. You'll be able to jump in on the ground level to help form bylaws,
mission statements, plan events and be able to say, "I was there from the begining!"

Meetings are held the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7PM at the Lutz Children's Museum in Manchester. (No meetings July or August) |
